Tour Overview: Embark on an unforgettable 10-day motorcycle journey through Scotland’s wild Highlands, rugged coastline, and legendary riding roads. From sweeping mountain passes and remote single-track roads to historic castles and island crossings, this tour is built for riders who want to explore deeper, ride further, and truly experience Scotland from the saddle.

  • Day 1: The Journey North

Kent to Scottish Border: Our adventure begins today as we head North from Kent. We’ll gather at our pre-arranged meeting point, or join us en route if preferred. We’ll enjoy a smooth run up to the Scottish border, stopping for breakfast and for plenty of breaks on the way. A comfortable hotel awaits us for a relaxing evening to kick off our first night.

  • Day 2: Into the Highlands

Scottish Border to Oban: After breakfast, we head North. Watch the landscape transform as the gentle Lowland hills give way to the rugged scenery of the West Highlands. We’ll skirt past Glasgow and quickly find ourselves in a world of deep lochs and soaring mountains. Our destination is the "Gateway to the Isles"-Oban, where we’ll settle in for the night at our hotel with views of the harbour.

  • Day 3: The Road to the Isles

Oban to Kyleakin(Isle of Skye): Leaving Oban, we’ll head inwards to the famous Glen Coe, riding through the mist and mountains, with views of the three sisters mountain range that will take your breath away as we continue North following the West Highland Way towards Fort William. Enjoy some time in the shadow of Ben Nevis before we ride the stunning coastal roads to The Isle of Skye, stopping to see the famous Harry Potter bridge (Glenfinnan Viaduct). After our day of Glens and Giants, we’ll finish at our hotel in the small village of Kyleakin with amazing views of the Skye Bridge.

  • Day 4: The NC500 STARTS TODAY

Skye to Ullapool: Fuel up with a hearty breakfast. After a brief visit to Skye we head back to the mainland for the legendary Bealach na Bà (Applecross Pass). This ascent to Applecross offers some of the most dramatic views in Britain. After spending the day riding the spectacular winding single track roads, a well-earned rest at our hotel awaits us in the Small town of Ullapool, where you can watch the ferry come and go to the Outer Hebrides at our hotel by the harbour.

  • Day 5: The WILD WEST

Ullapool to Thurso: After another hearty breakfast, we continue North. Today we will be covering the North West tip of Scotland. Riding by castles, lochs and glens. We’ll stop at Kylesku Bridge, another highlight of the NC500. We’ll continue on to the village of Durness, at the North West tip of Scotland. Durness is famous for its rugged cliffs, turquoise beaches, and Smoo Cave. Now we’ll be heading East to Thurso, it is the Northernmost town in Great Britain with breathtaking views of the Orkney Isles. We’ll be staying in Thurso tonight and fueling up for next leg of the NC500.

  • Day 6: The Edge of the North

Thurso to Inverness: Today, we push for the summit of mainland Britain. We’ll ride the short trip to John o' Groats—the iconic "end of the road." After the obligatory photo op we’ll head South, winding through historic fishing villages and softer, rolling landscapes. Our Goal? Capital of the Highlands - Inverness. We’ll settle into our bike friendly accommodation where we’ll be staying for two nights.

  • Day 7: The choice is yours

Inverness: Today the choice is yours. Take the day as you please, have a well earned rest at our comfortable hotel, with its swimming pool and sauna. You can take in the sights of Inverness, River Ness and The Ness Islands or Inverness Castle. Go to MacGregors Bar - ‘The Best Pub in Scotland’. Where you can enjoy regional whiskies alongside live Scottish music. • Day 8: The Legend of the Loch Ness Monster

Inverness to The Trossachs: Prepare for a day of pure, uninterrupted riding. As we bid farewell to Inverness, riding to The Trossachs National Park is the next leg of the journey. We’ll ride alongside Loch Ness with plenty of time to look for Nessie. We’ll be stopping for coffee, cake and congratulations at the official end point of the NC500 today.

The Trossachs to North Yorkshire: We kick off the day with a ride across the iconic Forth Road Bridge, offering a world-class view of the Firth of Forth. After skirting Edinburgh, we hit the A68. Known for its "rollercoaster" feel, ride through the hills of the Scottish Borders then we’ll cross the border back into England, pausing for a final panoramic look at Scotland.
