Tour Overview: Embark on an exhilarating 6-day motorcycle tour through the stunning landscapes of Wales. Experience a blend of breathtaking scenery, winding roads, and rich history as we explore some of the best riding roads in the UK. Discover dramatic views, rugged valleys, and natural beauty. Day 1: Ride to the welsh border
Start point to Lydney: We’ll gather at our pre-arranged meeting point, or join us en route if preferred. Heading to the Welsh border, avoiding motorways as much as possible, we’ll be passing through Somerset and Gloucestershire. Stopping to take in Cheddar Gorge and the rolling Mendip Hills National Landscape. Enjoy twisting roads and stunning views. We’ll be crossing the River Severn as we make our way to our overnight accommodation in the small market town of Lydney, near Chepstow.
Day 2: peaks to postcards
Brecon Beacons to Tywyn: Time to enjoy the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) as we make our way West across Wales towards the Cardigan area, taking in more beautiful and rugged scenery. From there, we head North following the coastline, stopping in Aberaeron for lunch. It’s a postcard-perfect harbour town with famous colourful houses. Grab some local seafood or the famous honey ice cream and eat by the water. We’ll continue North enjoying the views and arriving at our self-catering accommodation just outside Tywyn in the early evening.
Day 3: NEVER FAR FROM THE SEA
Porthmadog to the Llyn Peninsula: After breakfast we’ll head onto the sun-drenched tarmac of the Llŷn Peninsula, where sweeping A-roads meet the salt air of the Irish Sea. Onto the ultimate viewpoint at the very tip of the Llyn Peninsula is Mynydd Mawr near Uwchmynydd, offering dramatic panoramic sea views, a former coastguard lookout, with views towards the rugged coast of Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli). Later looping back down to our accommodation and taking in our first proper taste of the famous Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park.
DAY 4: Crossing the bridge
The Isle of Anglesey: We’ll kick off this morning with some of the most dramatic landscapes in the UK. Heading through the jagged peaks of Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park and the world famous Llanberis pass. We’ll carve our way North toward the coast. Crossing the historic Menai Suspension Bridge. Gliding over the Strait with the sun hitting the water and the mountains as our backdrop is a proper "camera-out" moment.
DAY 5: heading south
Tywyn to Raglan: After a week of epic curves, today is about soaking in the final miles. We’ll start the morning with a relaxing, rhythmic ride from our accommodation, cutting across the heart of Mid Wales toward the quaint market town of Welshpool. These are the kind of roads where you can really find your flow—sweeping bends and rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. We continue South to the small village of Raglan to our last nights accommodation. Time to relax and toast to an epic weeks riding.
DAY 6: homeward bound
Homeward Bound: We’ll ride together until you need to take your own route home to reflect on our trip, share your photos and stories, and of course, start planning your next MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURE WITH AMT.

We’ve built this trip for maximum enjoyment. Each day is packed with planned stops for local food, photo ops at the best viewpoints, and regular "stretch-your-legs" breaks. We keep the pace easy and inclusive, ensuring everyone can soak in the incredible scenery without feeling rushed. It’s about the smiles, not just the miles!
This trip was designed for beginner to experienced riders. With many miles being on minor roads, suitable bikes and equipment are required for long-distance riding. There are no off-road sections during this tour.

Solo rider with private room - £475pp
Solo rider in a shared room - £385pp
Rider & Pillion sharing twin/double room - £385pp
Prices include all accommodation and tour guide.
Prices do not include fuel, meals, any admission charges, breakdown cover or any fines personally incurred.
Bed linen is included at all accommodations.
Own bath towel required.
